GORDON TRUCKING NAMED DEDICATED CARRIER FOR THE HOME DEPOT

PACIFIC, WASHINGTON - November 18, 2002 - You might not think about Gordon Trucking when you are replacing your rain gutters, adding a new back deck or landscaping in your front yard, but you will now. Gordon Trucking and The Home Depot have teamed up again to deliver home improvement products here in the Northwest.

The Home Depot is the world's largest home improvement retailer currently operating 1,459 stores in the United States and Canada. This presence across the US has warranted a new distribution center to be located in Lacey, Washington.

Gordon Trucking has been selected as the dedicated carrier for the new Import Distribution Center. This dedicated operation will consist of approximately 11 trucks and 13 drivers making deliveries in the greater Puget Sound area. GTI will also be managing the on-site hostling unit with an additional two full time drivers.

This operation will require GTI to develop an On Site Transportation Coordinator. This GTI representative will act as the main interface between Gordon Trucking and The Home Depot. They will be responsible for managing the dedicated fleets, hostlers, one-way loads, and assure that partner carriers are performing up to Home Depot standards.

Currently Gordon Trucking serves The Home Depot, moving products from their current Import Distribution Center in Mira Loma and Fullerton, California, which Lacey will eventually replace for volumes to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado and Reno, Nevada. Each Home Depot Retail store stocks approximately 40,000 to 50,000 different kinds of building materials.

The new business relationship will increase truck loads approximately 125 to 150 a week. The Home Depot will now be in the GTI top ten in regards to yearly revenue. The Lacey facility will see about 50 to 75 inbound loads a day from the ports, while there will be 30 to 50 outbound loads headed to retail locations.

"The Home Depot is the most involved bid process GTI has ever undertaken", said Andrew Gendreau, Director of Customer Engineering. "We truly believe that we are the best carrier in the region and this new business is a testament to the hard work of the entire GTI team".

Gordon Trucking Inc is a $130M long-haul carrier with roots in the Western US. Founded in 1946, Gordon Trucking has grown to serve all 48 of the contiguous states as well as Canadian Provinces and Mexico. The success of GTI's business is based on many unique market niches such as a regional heavy-haul division, a national temperature control division, complete logistics management and award-winning drivers. Many of GTI's customers number among the Fortune 500 Companies.

The Home Depot reported net sales for fiscal 2001 of $53.6 billion and employs approximately 280,000 people.

The first delivery is scheduled for January 2nd, 2003.
