Washington State 2003 Safe Fleet of the Year
We are very proud to announce that the Washington State
Patrol has selected Gordon Trucking as Washington's
2003 Safe Fleet of the Year. This award is for fleets
that operate in excess of 5 million miles annually.
It is based on safe miles operated, safety compliance,
equipment inspections, safety training and GTI’s
total commitment to safety. This is great recognition
of GTI’s commitment to safety from the enforcement
community.
We have made great efforts to continually refine and
build upon our safety programs. The hard work of every
associate is necessary to achieve real results, so we
are pleased to share this with all members of the GTI
team.
I would especially like to acknowledge the contributions
of Bruce Binder and the safety staff. They have worked
extremely hard to grow and maintain a culture of safety
at GTI. This culture is exemplified by the everyday
commitment of the men and women behind the wheel for
GTI. This has resulted in some nice accolades. In addition
to this award, GTI has received two of the last three
WTA Drivers of the Year, Ron Justice and Dan Poorman.
As always, GTI will continue to make safety our top
priority. It is the most important job we have as professionals
on the road to ensure that the trust placed in us by
the public is respected and enhanced.
Everyone here should take pride in this prestigious
award and your contributions toward achieving it.
Thanks for all the demanding and diligent efforts.
Ok, enough basking in the glory, let’s get going
on how we can improve upon this performance and win
it again next year!
